BROADWAY // BIO
Cindy Robinson began her career in the brilliant footlights of Broadway when Stephen Sondheim cast her in the original 1988 Broadway production of Into The Woods where she not only covered Cinderella, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood, but portrayed Snow White in the PBS taping of Great Performances.
Immediately after, she was cast as Wendy in the 1990 revival of Peter Pan where she also understudied the role of Peter Pan, becoming at that time only the 8th woman in history to perform the role on Broadway. The next bit of serendipity was being cast as the cover to Julie Jordan in the 1994 multi-Tony Award winning revival of Carousel at Lincoln Center directed by the legendary Nicholas Hytner and the production that discovered the amazing talents of Audra MacDonald.

Regionally, she has starred as some of the prolific characters in musical theatre history including Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth, TX, Emma in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Song and Dance in Florida, Oklahoma City and Los Angeles, Florence in Chess at the Ford Amphitheatre, Essie Whimple in the Goodspeed Opera House’s production of Redhead, Cunegonde in The Alliance Theatre’s production of Candide just to name a few.
She created her first cabaret series titled For Once in My Life and followed it up 2 years later with her one woman show entitled Black and Whites.
Cindy has performed for sold out/SRO crowds across the United States and Europe. Her new theatrical endeavor is an original podcast musical called, Kabuki Marge. She truly hopes you will join her in this new venture.
